Queensland's politics has long been dominated by the two party-system. In recent years, however, more and more independents and third party candidates - from the Greens to the Katter Australia Party - have started to win seats, challenging the status-quo.
This event, hosted by the Queensland chapter of the Australasian Study of Parliament Group (ASPG-Q) will bring together a panel of parliamentarians, journalists, academics and community campaigners to discuss the past and future of Queensland's two-party system.
The event will be held in Parliament House with drinks and light refreshments overlooking Speaker's Green to follow.
**Doors will open at 5:00pm. Please note that all visitors to Parliament House must bring government issued photo ID with them**
