Based in nipaluna/Hobart, Hannah grew up on a verdant herb nursery in Hill End, Meanjin/Brisbane. Over the past 20 years, she’s worked in rural and urban agriculture initiatives that grow food and community. She’s an ambassador for Community Gardens Australia, a presenter on ABC TV’s Gardening Australia, Director of Good Life Permaculture and bestselling author of The Good Life: How To Grow A Better World.
Emma-Kate Rose is a co-owner of Food Connect, a Brisbane-based social enterprise creating a localised and democratised food system. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Justice Studies from QUT, and is past Fellow of the Yunus Centre, Griffith University.
